Debra Sparrow was commissioned to design this authentic Salish Wolf blanket by the Tsleil-Waututh Nation (Slay-Wah-Tooth). The Tsleil-Waututh people come from the Wolf Clan, and the Wolf symbol is a celebration of family, unity and strength Sparrow is a self-taught Musqueam designer who was born and raised on the Musqueam Reserve. She integrates her people's history into her art and design work. It is Sparrow's hope to educate others about the beauty and integrity of her people's history through her art.
